Went to my favourite field Tuesday 9th August. Ploughed. Soil rather dry. My T2 found a Silver Denarius of Trajan emperor A.D.98 to A.D.117 this coin is Cos V1 so places it at A.D.113 The reverse is Virtus (courage) he holds a spear and short sword. Minted at Rome. 2cm diameter 3.3 grams Next a small finger ring with paste decoration on the bezel 3rd to 4th century A.D. inside diameter 15mm Then a pair of bronze tweezers ends bent in the ground. The design has not changed for more than two thousand years.
