Favourite coil for Beach

Hello Iam new to the forum and live in the UK .Bought My Quartro
couple months ago .Would like to know from fellow Quartro users what there
prefered coil is for Beach Detecting .I currently use the standard one
Also has anyone used the new Sef coil and what are there opinions
land or beach .

the 10X14 Excelerator with a bungie setup. Great coverage, deep and pinpoints well. Heavy, hence the bungie cord. Have a Sunray X-12 but not as stable. Use a X-70 for quick search missions, but if I really want to detect an area the Quattro and the Excelerator will pull out deep and old targets.

So far I used the 10,5" stock coil only.

It provided both excellent ground coverage and balance.

I noticed I had to slow down sweeping with the Quattro, but to my great surprise, I get better results (and more versatility : wet sand !)

I'd be interested in other people's advices about other brands and types of coils used, providing they'd be lighter and give at least the same depth capacities.
