Favorite place to hunt

Whats your favorite place to hunt? Old schools, parks, houses, fairgrounds, etc.

It is awful hard to beat private property that has some history for the older coins. (With permission of course) and the sports fields and tot lots for the clad and jewelry. Small town parks have worked out very well provided they have not been hit very hard. Fairgrounds are a bit too trashy for me, but many have done very well there especially if a smaller coil was used.

In other words, little treasures can be found just about anywhere depending on what you are looking for and how you hunt.

I think the same as Larry! HH, Nancy

I'm not sure I have a favorite spot to hunt but if I had a preference I guess it would have to be old private property yards that have never been hunted before. I am happy turning up clad but old coins, relics, rings, and other interesting items are what I would rather dig. I also enjoy finding goodies at the old parks, schools, and other such areas that everyone says are hunted out. In the areas that are supposedly hunted out all you have to do is go very slow and you should find some of the deeper and older items that others missed.
