Favorite Park Still Producing Gold Rings.

Just went out detecting with my buddy at my favorite park today. I must have been there about 20 times or more, no one wants to go there because its quite year round but I know back in the 90's it was an active park , Found 3 gold rings all 14k and 4 Silver rings in the past. We'll today my buddy was the lucky one. Minutes before he found the gold ring I was right on top of it but didn't bother to swing my coil. I walked away and was about a 50 yards from him when he yelled out I got gold. It was a thick 14k gold band 4 inches down reading a solid 62,63 on the his AT PRO. Strange how most gold rings I found are always close to a park bench. His was no different. My theory is couple must have been sitting there argue and the guy threw away his ring L.O.L. It was a great hunt though... He came out with a 14K gold ring and about $4 and I came out with $3.67...not bad for a park I thought was hunted out.
