Fault detector?

I have got inquiry for all owner T2. When the will touch search coil, Root, or branches, or tuft Cluster grass, detector will give up sound. Does you it detector also, or is that a error concrete detector?

Mine don't however always the chance you have a defective coil or perhaps swinging in an arc instead of level which can cause a sound on end of swing. Of course settings could also come into play..If in a club or know another T-2 owner trying his coil on your unit will easily tell you....faulty coil or not...Actually some detectors will emit a sound if you hit an object or the ground, but haven;t seen that with a T-2...

Mine does not make a peep. I tested a new prototype coil for the T2 for the exact same thing. I was also quiet when bumped. Wet or dry did not matter, no falsing.

Sounds like the sensitivity is too high, what do you have it set at?? If it still does it when it is lowered then make sure all your connections are tight.
Mine will a little when I have the sensitivity too high, but other wise it is not a problem.

Sensitivity it's adjusted approximately on 70. It's on the whole in good order. Otherwise, thank you to all behind benefit, confirmed me thoughtthat the it's perhaps coil bad. I will try new coil. Once more thank you to all.
