Pretty fancy coin washer, has a drink dispenser too!

Thats funny ,

Heheheh....... I can see a bunch of repetitive stress injuries from pushing all those coins into the 'cleaner'

That's hilarious! What an idea. Probably have to rotate which machines are used so that the vendor didn't upset...I can imagine trading freshly dug coins for nice shiny ones probably gunk up the mechanism in the machine and the vendor will now have to resort to cleaning the dirty money before he can use it. Still funny though.

guess it works,so why not?..saves expense of a tumbler, and cleaning materials!
just sayin'

My son used to do that, but he was young then. I've heard that coke and pepsi are good coin cleaners, but didn't realise they had built us a machine expecially for the purpose.

I'm really surprised that the machine would even accept those dirty coins. In my area I sometimes have vending machines reject even my cleaned coins.

Cute, novel idea and makes a fun video as this was intended I'm sure, but it is just plain wrong to pass on our dirty coins to someone else to deal with. It gives our hobby a bad image not to mention that it is impractical for large amounts of coins and pennies. To those new to the hobby, please invest in a tumbler and do your part to help clean up our already tarnished image. Be respectable to others property and once you pass on your dirty coins to someone else, it become their property.

I just wanted to point out to those new in the hobby that this is not the way most of us do it and a few hours in a tumbler does a great job.

My thoughts exactly ! Sure the Video was done in jest, but doesn't do any good for our hobby ! Tumbler and soap is all that's needed.

No question about it. This guy McMurphy couldn't care less about maintaining a good image for our hobby. All my coins go into a tumbler and when they pass my inspection they go back into circulation. Those that are not fit go into the garbage. People like him harm this hobby.

That's one mass of coins there Larry (I agree with you btw). My last tumbler died, so now I'm back to salt and vinegar...works well but more labour intensive than the tumbler...will be getting another soon.

i agree in "principal" larry, however there are those who
don't have $100.00 for a tumbler who would disagree with you!' to be perfectly honest,i am more concerned with the
''idiots" who tear the s**t out of good hunting sites with their "irresponsible" digging techniques, than i am
with someone tryin' to grab a soda with some recently dug clad!..just sayin'

he wasn't "tryin' to grab a soda" jmaryt, what he was doing was putting in his dirty coins, pressing the "cancel" button, then new coins from the machine would drop out...eventually, he would fill the machine with dirty coins, so that anyone who got change would get his s..t, and the people who own the machine would have a bagful of s..t when they came to empty the machine. I wouldn't like it if I was either one, and so I would not do it to someone else. JMHO

ic! point understood, however,i don't believe he is too concerned with what others think!
unfortunate,to be sure,but that's the impression i get!..just sayin'

I don't want McMurphy to think I am talking about him, he might be a great guy and just wanted to make a video that he thought was funny but I agree with you JT and sadly it is the people who don't care what others think that is hurting our hobby. Good hunting sites are placed on the no hunt list daily because of those who didn't care.

Furious T........ that pile is $330 found over several months by both of us, Nancy and I. Our record is a little over $1400 in clad in one year, that is a lot of deep knee bends.
