Fast and deep mode.

Haven't used the XS for a few months, but plan on using it a lot for land hunting. When I hunted at the beach with it I ran both the fast and the deep mode at the same time. I tried just the fast once, and just the deep once and really didn't see that much difference in performance depth. Of course to get the deep targets you have to go slow, and with this unit this also holds true. My question is if the area is low in trash should I run it in just the deep mode,or is fast/deep ok,or by using both does this hurt my depth? Thanks for your help folks.HH,Harry(NJ)

If its clean run deep and sweep slow... I know it really does lock into the deeper signals easier.. although in trash it seems to blend targets too much...Jim

That's what I hear Jim,but I've yet to get a coin over 8" on land, and I know if the xs-2 pro can get over 10" so can the XS. I'll give it a deep run this weekend and see what happens. Thanks,Harry(NJ)
