farm field silver with vaquero

Went out to where an old farm once stood yesterday and found a few coins. In the past, I have found probably 30 to 40 coins in this field. This is one of the few homesteads that I search that produces alot of coins. It is a really trashy site but any time the farmer turns the soil I seem to find a few items. Was really impressed with the vaquero in all the iron junk. Ran the sensitivity at just below 10 and disc. at just below nickel.
I had taken the vaq. relic hunting the day before and was slightly disappointed with the results. Found a few musket balls and two old buttons. I did eye ball the nice stone pt. though. Overall, I am really starting to like the vaq.

Nice arrow head, and also the coins, you really have a good spot thear , and sounds like the Vaquero is working fine

Nice Barber quarter, Clint

are there any Indians mixed in with the 'greenies'? Nice variety of finds! WTG

Randy, pretty sure they are all wheats. Kind of hard to tell on a couple of them, this field is not real kind to copper coins.

Was quite pleased with how well the vaq. handled all the iron junk in the field. Not only did it hit on the stuff in the photo but I also found several plain buttons, small pieces of copper and a lot of shotgun shells.
