Hello Larry, hope you are well ?? I have a question for you. Now when I had the detector as a V3, I was able to get RX 15 SOLID all day with my 6x10 coil. Now since I have had the upgrade to the V3i, the most RX I can get to stay stable is 7 ! Now I am using a stock C&J program but I am still able to get RX 14 with the 10"DD, so proving that it is a not a program problem. Do you think, for what ever reason, the coil has fell over ?? Seems strange to be honest as it was great before the upgrade ??

If you still get RX14 with the 10DD that proves there nothing wrong with the detector either. I guess the coil fell over.[attachment 165030 ani_einstein.gif]..........Rob

It is hard to say what went wrong, if anything, but the important question is, does the 6X10 go just as deep? Some of my coils get RX 15 while others I get RX 6, yet I see no depth difference....... I think it might just be the interaction between the box and coil without changing the performance of the coil............just my guess.

Morning chaps, thank you for getting back. To answer you Larry, NO !! I am only able to get 3" "in air" test now with the coil, so will get it sent back to Scotland...
