A HUGE hand of applause goes out to our club member Jeff M. for putting on an outstanding Club Hunt. He went way above and beyond our expectations. You rock Jeff! I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for an excellent day of hunting. Your BBQ was so good. Keep that recipe handy, we might want you to make that again. ;-) You were kind enough to show your friends the "how to" of metal detecting while showing us all a great time. Words cannot express enough gratitude and thanks for such an organized day.

I just attended my first hunt with a club.. Beaver County Detecting Club.. and it was a blast. It's so nice when clubs put on a class act!

Hi Viddy, thanks for stopping in to say  It is the membership that makes a good club and I think we have some of the best :clapping: With close to 40 members we put on some real nice get-to-gethers, (club hunts) augmented with good food and conversation makes finding little treasures in the ground a lot of fun.

Thanks everyone!!!! I had a great time hoasting the hunt and I for sure would love to do it agian!!

I also think Jeff did a great job. He went to alot of out of pocket expense and time and mileage when you consider he planted those tokens on friday. Smallest find, newest coin, and the blind auction shows he put some creative thought into it. It was good to see some old friends and meet new people. I walked by my prize token once, but my gut told me that something would most likely of been hidden on that side of the field. So after about a half hour or 45 minutes I went back and hunted a little closer to the tree line. I almost passed it by again, when I thought I better check under that branch sticking out there, just in case. Ol' Ken once told me that a person should hunt a few feet into a wooded area, because that tree line might of been open area several years ago. That still is pretty good advice, and the same principle applies. Thank you Jeff, for a great hunt and keeping us all on our toes.
