after all the ribbing i took when i first made my purchase....they no longer poke fun ........but are in awe of my finds...not to mention they just gave me an early fathers day present of a lighted magnifying glass(probably dollar store) .....i think the wife noticed I was taking the glass out of one our flash lights to inspect and occasionally take pics of my finds (for the forum).........cant wait for my typical sat ritual..........leave the house by 6 am......drive to one of the hundreds freshwater beaches within 50 miles from my house.........find the loot for 2-3 hours and be home noon to count the loot and inspect the jewels...........lol

I must admit some members of my family and church think I may be a tad eccentric. But, when I find that once in a lifetime ring or special coin, I'll have the last laugh. I remember my Grandpa defending me when I was little and someone at the family renunion said I was crazy. At least, I think he was defending me. He said, that boy ain't crazy, he was just born tired and growed up lazy...! lol
Of course, that's nothing compared to what he said to my English teacher who said I had bad grammar. I went home and told Grandpa he said I had a bad Grandma and he went after him with his walking stick and then everybody blamed me for the fireworks. Sometimes, it just doesn't pay to get out of bed and go to school.
