Family of owls......

Was at work last week and a friend told me about a family of owls nesting across the street at our local university.. I would have never thought they would have been around a lot of people moving around and noisy college kids.. walked over after work and got a big surprise while hunting for them. We found 3 little ones in the split of the tree just really checking us out and looked around a bit more and found mama ( was sleeping at first and then gave me a dirty look) and daddy close by watching our every move.. I guess it's a good place for them. We found parts of a rabbit under the tree that big daddy was setting in...so they're eating good for sure... this was a first for me, have never been able to get a shot of an owl before....much less a whole family. Was fantastic

fmurphy, you did great capturing these pictures of the owls. These are good, interesting pictures, and I enjoyed viewing them. Thanks for sharing. Kelley (Texas) :)

thanks for the comments everyone.... it was a real shocker to me when we found them... the little ones looked so cute and fluffy it made you think of taking one home... I figured big daddy and mama would had a different idea...
thanks again
