Falsing

I'm reading Andys book and he speaks of falsing. How do you know if the Etrac is falsing?
Thanks

You just learn to recognize it. Its the 'pops' and 'squeaks' you can get when hunting. Much of it is when you're in the iron and some can also occur at the end of your swings...as you start back. If you're running high Manual sensitivity, it also increases.

Here's a video I did on "Falsing".

Thx, the video was great and I had some falsing yesterday but didn't know what it was...

Interesting numbers on the Merc. On the 7 I've dug this year I don't think one was a 13-46 consistent like that. I've had them 12-43, 12-44, 11-43, 11-44, and so on. What's good to remember is that all of those Fe-Co combinations are good coin signals. Depth plays a big a role on the numbers especially in a high trash or mineralized soli area.
