I bit the bullett and sent mine in, hope it is better on the return end. Yes everthhing was set right, okay? Has anyone used the 6.5 x 9 coil on the AT and what were your results??? Any input will be helpful. Thanks to all Ron B.

I used the 9" x 12", air tested it and actually used it yesterday on a snow hill & got 3 x dimes & 2 x nickels. The depth is about the same as the stock coil, however, it pinpoints nicely off the inner toe, which is what I was hoping for. It's going to be my ring coil/machine this year. I would have likes to see how it compares with the stock coil on gold chains, however I sent all my gold in before christmas and have no gold chains left. :(

Good to hear from you Ron. hope all is well. :)

John, How did you get the 9 x 12 coil? All of the dealers tell me they won't be available until April!

The 9"x12" coil will ship on 03/08/11 according to GARRETT. I'll recieve mine the same day- My dealer is a distributor& picks up order at Garrett in person

Hi Ron, I have the 6.5x9 on my At pro. I mainly have been running in the std mode. I have dug 8 and 10 inch targets. I am happy with it. it pinpoints just like the ace250 with the 6.5x9 coil.I wish I could give you more info. I am amazed at the way it hits on the tiny bits of metal. I am sure that is the machine itself and not because of the coil .Saturday I dug a piece of something that was smaller than a pencil eraser at just over 6 inches. Any way, best of luck to you Ron
