Yeah! Now I have an excuse to start shopping for a newer SE or SE Pro. Not ready to step into an E-Trac. Haven't seen enough positives to sway me another $800 worth. I would like to pick a few brains about pros and cons and verses on SE and SE Pro though. Any information will be extremely appreciated. I am interested in new and "like new" machines if any one would like to post an offer. Please no fixer-uppers, I want to be back on the hunt sooner not later. Thanks for your help.

If I was you I would buy a brand new SE Pro cause most places have 2 year warranty and then they offer 2 year extended service plan so you get 4 years of peace & security. If you buy a used one the warranty is non-transferable so you get no warranty. I just read the warranty and that's what it said. Call up Minelab and see what they say if you buy a used one and how the warranty works. Now you can probably get a good deal on a used one but there might not be any warranty for you to rely on so you're taking a crap shoot there. Only difference in the SE and the SE Pro model is the coil of which the Pro one is better than the SE standard coil. It is a
