I have been off and on metal detecting for a few years. Just recently decided I will make it my true hobby though. I have read just about all the info I can find and found this to be one of the most helpful / friendly forums. After some research I picked up an ACE 250 for myself and a 150 for the girlfriend. (money is kind of tight at the moment so thats why the choice) I hit up an off spot along Virginia Beach and found some trash and a penny over 2 hours (while playing with the dog) then hit up the playground around the corner from the house and found 2 dimes in about a minute and left the rest of it for tomorrow. (slight sunburn atm =P ) Well hey sorry for the rant but mostly wanted to say hello. I'm staying in Virginia Beach for another 4 months then I'm out of the Navy and back to Daytona Beach...
