[/img] Got out for 4 hours back at the fairgrounds second barber quarter for the year did not find any the first 2 years with the ctx . Dug a 1890 Indian at 9 inches deep pretty good for the 6 inch coil . Pitted 1927 d buff at 6 inches deep probably the deepest nickel I have found there .Hope you guys got out it was a beautiful day .sube

Nice finds sube. That old fairgrounds has been good to u. Thinking about picking up the 6" coil myself keep up the good work.
 
Sube, have you kept track of your total finds for that place since you started? I would be curious to see what your take has been, great spot that keeps spittin the goods.

Yes I have been keeping track 160 silvers 57 of them barber 78 Indians 40 v and buffs all with the ctx . got about 200 silvers and 50 Indians with the explorer 2 and 6000 series 3 white and mxt Still a lot of coin still there . Hope to clean it out someday but it just keeps giving .You can keep going over the trashiest spots and still turn up coins . I can only imagine what came out of here before I started 10 years ago .sube
