I was thinking of making a trip up on Sat or Sun morning. Can anybody tell me a good beach to go to in Fairfield or Stamford.I was thinking Greenwich or Cummings. Can anybody help me out with a decent beach.(I do shallow water hunting.)I might give it a try at the power-ball to since we dont have it in N.Y.Thanks Tom

I like to go to Exit 5 off of I-95 to Greenwich Ct. Very exclusive beach that is closed to outsiders duing the summer season. A little further south is Rye playland which is part of Long island sound and easier to water hunt! Stamford ct. also has a beach by exit 9 on I-95! Its going to be cold this weekend but I hope that you have a great time and bag some gold!
Regards
John

Stamford beaches are pretty well played out most of water finds are batteries :) ... Greenwich beaches are a PITA... Seems the locals think anyone from out of town doesn't have the right to use their beaches... I know they won't let you dry hunt seems someone who works for the beaches hunts them and they will call the police and chase you out, but water is ok..

Fairfield beaches are sanded in and finds are very deep...
