Fair Price for M6

New member
Hello all again,
What would you guys say is a fair price for and M6 in good condition? I saw it retails for about 700 new but is eBay a good bet for a used one. Thanks for all the help.

The fair price would vary depending on age and condition. In my own case, I'd probably turn down a used machine if it was offered at less than a $100 off the new price unless it hadn't been used at all or just assembled and tried out. As to Ebay, you never know the actual price until the final bid. That said, I've bought 6 used detectors off Ebay with no problems, but they were all good enough deals that I could have put some repair into them had it been necessary. . Can't guarantee that would always be the case, but I've had good results. You might also watch the detector selling forum on this site, but you have to be quick to snatch up the better deals. As to the M6, I think it is a good choice, especially with the optional coils available for it.

You can buy them for around 575 new. Once you get up to 450 for a used one you might as well buy new.
