Factory Programs Optimized for 9" coil?

I got to wondering after reading this recent thread: http://www.findmall.com/read.php?83,2171624

Are the Factory settings, which were written before the 11" coil came about, optimized for ONLY the 9" coil? And if this is so, what parameters could be altered to Factory settings to get more "out of the box" performance from the 11" coil?

Just curious...
 
Very possible I suppose.

Just another reason why getting familiar with what each setting does is important for maximum performance.
