F75ltd vs Deus Xp

I was wondering if any of you have tried both of these machines. I'm using the F75 LTD and would like to try something different. I don't want to buy something w less performance than what I already have. I strictly relic hunt. Just wondered if some of you that have used both could give me some feedback on how the two compare.

I have used them both. If you do relic hunting you probably wouldn't gain much from buying the Deus. The Deus is a great coin detector and a great relic detector but the F75 LTD is also a great relic detector.

I have them both. I forced myself to put down the F75 for almost a year to make sure I would learn the Deus. There are no cooler detectors than the Deus. It learns new things on its own, lol. So many things you can toy with or turn it on and go. One of the main advantages is the weight and size. It gets so small I carry it in a big gym bag. Nobody would know i have a detector with me. Pretty sure you would enjoy the Deus.

I traded a F75ltd away when I got the Deus and as much as I like the Deus , I still miss the 75.
The Deus has variable recovery speeds and 1.5 is supposed to match the 75 --it goes to 5.
The tones(full) are better on the Deus than if you hunt with tones(Dp) on the 75---if you hunt with 2,3,4 tones it makes little difference unless you like to assign tones to blocks of disc numbers.
Deus has optional ground tracking , F75 does not .
Deus gives better discrimination info but it's still inadequate compared to other brands of flagship models.
Deus is wireless with multiple configurations which may be important in the bushes.
Deus can be updated , we're still waiting on the cost and process with the F75.
F75 actually seems to swing easier because the coil is lighter even though the overall weight is more.
F75 has more coil choices.

The Deus is just a more all around , versatile machine with 5/2 year TRANSFERABLE warranty which you can resell easily if you don't like it. Whether you buy new or used the Deus is probably going to cost you 500 bucks more than a F75 although you might be able to update your 75 soon and have a "new"machine for very little

Been a long time F75 user, now have a Deus also. I am VERY new to the Deus. My honest opinion at this point is they are very similar detectors, and in most situations one eill find what the other will find. The F75 delivers the goods at a lower price, the Deus offers extra features for more money. I find the F75 to be a bit more grab and go, just pop in batteries if need be and I am ready, no charging issues, etc. Coils are cheap. Deus by all accounts has an edge in the thick iron (have not seen it yet myself), and the extreme light weight is appealing. I am glad I do not have to choose between them. Maybe a year from now one will convince me I can let the other go but it really is that kind of a close call. In the end it will be a very personal thing for each user as both are excellent detectors.

Thanks for the response guys. I'm always looking at other detectors. I'll probably keep what I've got and save the extra money it would take to buy the Deus. Would sure like to try one though.
