F75 with DST or T2 SE ?

Had the T2 SE and during some medical times was not able to get out and now I am on the hunt for another unit so I have been looking at the F75 with DST and the only other fisher I owned was a CZ5 and it was outstanding on coins but just cumbersome to use . Anyway I enjoyed the T2 SE and it was well balanced and was a nice detector so leaning back in that direction but the F 75 has some features that I like more . Yea I know most will say get both but that's out of the question and I mainly hunt demo lots and old homesteads as well as deep woods . so if any of you guys own both tell me your likes and dislikes on both .

Both similar, both light and ergonomic.
1-40 on the iron section on the T2, I much prefer the 1-15 on the Fishers.
The Fishers save settings, the T2 doesn't and has no backlight.
There are more little differences but many cross over.

The anniversary edition F75 has DST, most modern updated processes but no boost or cache...which isn't really needed and at $500 I would consider it over an LTD model if I was in the market...but that's me.

My F70 does not have all the extra processes the F75 has but I don't miss them...also light and super ergonomic.
Super deep, raw power, two completely different programs you can set and hunt with simultaneously and boost...plus you can control the threshold in not only all metal but in disc.
I have found that feature can come in handy in some situations.
No DST but that never was a handicap at any time for me.
Some love it and it makes a difference in some heavy EMI sites, others don't see much difference or keep it turned off most of the time.

Thanks I think I am going to give the F75 a try after Christmas for what comes with it and the price I don't think I can pass it up if its still available at the time . Thanks for the Info

In Kansas and Missouri soil these things are deeeeep!
At the edge of Loose park near the entrance off of Wornall rd. you will come across more EMI than any other site I have ever been to before or since.
Constant jumping, noise pulsing and thrumming that you would get if you tried hunting next to a running diesel train engine...I never could figure out where it was coming from and it happened every single time I hunted there
I was told when I asked about this park on the MWAS club website that the best I can do is shallow clad and jewelry, old coins were going to be few and far between having been hunted for 50+ years.
In this area in the curb strip between the sidewalk and the street despite all the chatter, jumping and noise I came across a decent signal with multiple and mixed higher tones.
No matter what is going on Fishers can tell you when it is swinging over something good once you learn to understand them, their language and behavior.
I was on sense 80, -2 thresh, DE speed, (no boost), and 4H tones.
Got some numbers that ranged from zinc up to dimes that moved up and down as I moved the big DD coil around about a one foot square area but the tones were sounding good and no drops to iron.
Pinpoint depth reading jumped between 7-8"...I had to see what this was.
Turned out to be the best coin spill I ever came across, one very old early wheat and three Indians from the 1800's to the early 1900's spread out around that one foot area and every bit of that 7-8" depth, one Indian I believe was closer to 9".

On other hunts in that same extremely heavy EMI saturated area I found many other great things among them lots of clad, a merc right next to the entrance sign and a gold ring sitting between two pieces of iron.
DST might have made all of this easier but I don't have it so I learned to get along fine without it.

On another hunt in that same park off of Wornall but away from the street and all that EMI I was messing with the settings and had it at 99 sense, 9 on the thresh again in DE speed and again with the big DD coil and I got a signal that jumped between the mid 20's and low 30's with solid tones and repeated from two directions.
When I hit the pinpoint button I was a little shocked to see 13 and 14" depth numbers.
I never dig that deep in public parks or anywhere else for that matter but this one I had to just to see if something was actually down there that deep...there was.
Turned out to be the thumb ringer off of an old bicycle bell and out of the ground the VDI numbers leveled out to the high 20's...and I measured the depth on this one and it was an actual 15".

To get a solid tone, accurate VDI numbers and repeating information on the screen on something this deep rocked me back on my heels...I knew this thing could get deep and do amazing things but this shocked me.

These experiences and more made me a Fisher fan, the surprises and fun never ends with these things.

Barry....
Just saw a notice from a dealer in Mo. that stated the cutoff date for ordering the T2 Classic or F75 anniversary bundles with a battery charger and the 15" coil ends on December 29 at 1:00 PM.
Stocking dealers might still have them after that but for those that drop ship you need to get your order in by that time.
