F75 vs C$

Thought I would add this here...

Basically why should I get a F75 when I can get such a great deal on a coinstrike?

Area of interest: coinshooting in mostly modern trashy locations in Florida

Probably average only 2-3 hrs per week use
menu intensive programming not really an issue. I deal with it regularly in my job. However, how different settings interact with each other may cause longer learning curve. I am however a voracious reader and have read most of the F-75 posts over the last couple months. I understand all the C$ posts are at the beginning of this forum which I would read also.

Since my time is limited, I am willing to pay more for the detector that has a shorter learning curve and will have me digging less trash and better treasures.

Current detector Ace 250 (still have issues with pinpointing when targets more than 3 inches deep) I have been pleased with the Ace other than in high trash areas (old houses which have been demolished for new construction) where it just wants to beep all over the place. Unfortunately most of the beeping with the Ace would be in the coin range often caused by larger bits and pieces of metal or wire.

You would not be making a mistake by purchasing a Coinstrike over the F-75.

It's not that the F75 couldn't do what the C$ can, they each have attributes that they excel in.

The learning curve on either of the mentioned units is not bad.

Governing the selling price for each, that makes the C$ an exceptional value, and don't forget the lifetime warranty on the C$.

For my money,($550.), the Coinstrike is the way to go.

I don't know about the C$ but I do know that the F-75 is a coin killer where I am in FL. Most of the modern places I hunt are paved In tabs and trash yet the F-75 can still read the coins. If you are now running a Ace 250 and are happy with it you will ecstatic with any other high end machine.
