F75 Upgrade

Hi Everyone

I wonder if you would be good enough to help me. This is an F75 I purchased in Uk 2 weeks ago with a 02-2008 serial number. It came into the UK shop 2 days before I bought it, on about 17th April. Is this one of the upgraded models which obviously have been slow coming here to UK? I emailed Fisher with the serial number but they said they could not tell me with the serial number. I think it is an upgraded one. Many thanks in anticipation everyone.

Hi Steve.
Congrats on the new machine, I hope you enjoy it as much as I do mine. I only wish I could dig finds as old as you have there.

On the new machine, I cannot answer you for lack of knowledge. Perhaps a close up of the control head will discover a gasket. If I am correct there is a gasket for WX. I have an old one and do not intend to upgrade it. It is as I bought it about a year ago with some of my own Mods., I like a different cuff style and more dirt HH.

From what i remeber seeing there is a gasket between to two halfs of the control head

There should be a External gasket at the face plate..from all the pic i have seen..
