F75 upgrade E.M.I

I have none at my place - where EMI is pretty terrible, even mild, mannered Whites Classic III sqwaks at fool power.

mine is super quiet..can run 99 sens at a school where my omega cant get above 50 sens..

When you are running in bp and at 99 or so, do the audio tones 'pop' in? I have tried it several times and when I set it up with bp, sense at about 80 or higher, and disc at about 15, the target audio really POPS into the headset. Like firecrackers, no build up or build down, just pops with different pitch tones. Kinda tough on my ears and brain.

Dont get that, seems like i'm getting ground interference, the person i talked to at Fisher about the digital shielding said if you have to much it take away the power of the detector. I told him of my settings, 99-sens, 0-disc, bp mode and he said that's running to hot. So bottom line my detector is running the way it should. But being a coin hunter this still wont work for me. Thanks for all the feedback

That is why I kept my ET. No problem with EMI. It doesn't do as well though in iron even though in most cases I can use TTF and then it isn't much of a concern.

The instruction manual on pg. 17 says "At settings above 90, the internal circuit noise of the machine will probably be audible."

Could this be taken for EMI noise? I haven't run mine past 80 yet.
