Does the Delta pitch work similiar to the Teknetics mark-1?

The best way to describe it is basically it's like 99 different tones. Or a different tone for each number...the higher the number the higher the pitch. It can be useful, but soundwise it's not for everybody. Some have stated it sounds something like the Explorer with all it's different instrumental-type sounds....

the X-Terra 70 than the Explorer. And, if it is, that is a good thing. The X-70 offers the user a choice of either single tone, dual tone, three tone, four tone or a multiple tone (99). Each distinct pitch varies with the target's conductivity. HH Randy

I wish I could here the 99 tone setting!
