Hello everyone I would like some of your opions about this coil and if it works good for you and if you recomend getting one.
And another ? is there a difference between the white or black coil for the F75 se with the DST.Thank you for your time and
help and I want to wish you all a merry Christmas and a happy new year and please be safe on the roads....

I had a 13" Ultimate coil, no complaints with the coil but I trade it for a 5x10 DD elliptical. The reason for the trade was I don't really have a need for a large coil in my area and the smaller 5x10 is better suited for what I do.

As for coil color I would say it is just something to do with looks or maybe the sun heating up the black material.

I had the ultimate coil on my f75ltd2 and it was very deep and pinpointed well and was good on small targets also.. i sold it with the detector but just bought a new f75 dst standard and now have the nel tornado for it.. the nel is lighter and it doesn't require the use of the coil cover and it seems to glide better across the ground... I will say both the ultimate and tornado coils seem close.. tornado is better built. Both same size.. hope this helps

Im new to the F75 LTD, less than 30 hours on it - enjoying it. I just got the Ultimate for my F75 and have just a few hours in the field with it yesterday and some time over my test plot. In the plot it ID's almost two inches deeper. My short field time shows it is light keeping the detector a delight to swing. The coverage is welcome for field work but I did not dig enough targets yesterday to add much. However I have had the 13" Ultimate on my V3i since March and have many hours behind it and I am pleased with it for open areas. I used the 12x10 SEF for many of the 5 years I've had the V and prefer the Ultimate, tho im not letting go of SEF because mine is perfectly tuned for my V3i and the performance is close. The U13 on the V: I have pulled many coppers, musket balls, 3 Spanish silvers (two 1/2 reals and a 1R), a seated dime, small bits of silver jewelry and a SL quarter from "my" go to farm field this year. I also found 8" silver dimes and wheat cents on edge in the proverbial "hammered" park, really.
As a further endorsement I recently got the 13" Ultimate for my ATP and it truly made a large difference in identifying targets at depth. In the field and over my plot it is way ahead of the stock coil, plus I can swing it all day. So I have high hopes for it on my F75. With the different Fisher modes and tuning options I'll hold out on making any such recommendations here (as I mentioned with ATPro)until I get more time in.
Lastly for those who think the build is not robust, consider that the supports are not epoxy filled, saving weight. Time will tell how the coils endure for me. Be assured if they have problems you will hear it from me, LOUDLY. Ive considered NEL, Mars and the regular Detech SEF coils so I know what is available, I only keep what works. I'd love to grab a MARS discovery, I realy want to test one.
I havent been on the board for a while. thats my long winded .02$

I've been thinking about the larger coil route for a couple of my units. Thanks for the input. HH jim tn

There's a Detech Ultimate for F70/F75 in the classified section if anybody is interested.
