F75 tackles "Shoe Buckle Inn"....

Those who get Western & Eastern treasures magazine may remember a story about a large colonial cellar hole site in NH. I nicknamed the shoe buckle Inn due to both our feelings that it was a tavern, & that it produced so many different Colonial shoe buckles which I love to find. WEll I had never taken the F75 there & figured it was worth trying to save some more history...
Speaking of that, I also brought the video camera & captured hopefully some cool footage. It was a real nice day to have off work! :D
Here's the foundation of the Inn again......

It has to be cool video just seeing the colonial stone work. I figured it was a very cool site even if I didn't turn anything up. But, of course I was hoping I could pop a keeper or 2 for the camera:)
The F75 ran like a champ! I did better than expected on a "worked out" site......
I used JE mode with sens. 76 & 1 & 2F tones.....saw ground readings in high 70's.
First target was an 1891 Indian head in nice shape.......from there it went back to all Colonial finds!
A nice thick brass shoe buckle frame (site living up to it's name):)
Then I had a couple mishaps. My shovel broke.....then I switch to a trowel I had in my bag & it broke!:ranting:
Thought I was done for the day, until I saw a claw rake head in the cellar hole. Probably left by a bottle digger, so I made do with my hands & that......
glad I stayed! Last 2 targets were a nice big 1700's pewter button & finally one the way out a signal of 76 @ 7" produced an 1820 Large cent......that was worth diggin with my hands for:)

What was funny is earlier I said on camera we hadn't found many coins here.....well the F75 bagged 2 & maybe more if I had the right shovel!:spin:
Anyhow, once I figure out Windows Movie maker you'll see it here first. I think i need to get back there again with the F75 too.....
HH,
Bill

I'd be in hog heaven with all the great old sites you have to "rehunt" with the F-75.
