F75 & Sunray probe

I know how the instructions say for installation...but is there a better way..Seems the probe line hangs out pretty far.
So come on all you smarter than me people how do you install your probe for max operation??

On a more serious side. Mine really doesn't bother me where I detect. I haven't gone into the woods yet, but i will just have to be careful with it. Maybe you could get some more of those velcro tie straps that hold the coil cord to the shaft and tie it up to the upper shaft????

An extra velcro works nice..and holds it close to rod

Here is how I installed my probe. I put it on the rod. I lay the wire over the F-75 box, while hunting. It makes it so much easier to
get to the probe this way and easy to put back.

Here is the Half Dollar cleaned up, along with a Silver Quarter I found the same day.

Nice siler. Doesn't having it on the lower rod make it nose heavy? I put mine between the battery compartment and control box and it seems to be very well balanced there. I guess it's all in what works for you.
