F75 - static mode - how deep??

I'm a motion fan too but have played with the static mode and it is very deep. I used it with high sensitivity settings and it picked up a coin at about 20". You have to re-tune manually in that mode. That mode is more to find large targets deep. The footprint of that mode is too large for coins in a park.

I was more thinking......how freakin deep will I be diggin' for a cannonball:goodnight:

My first impressions are that the Static Mode is similar to what we saw in the original all metal VLF detectors with no discrimination. Of course there is new technology in the design but it responds very much like the first VLF I used but has more depth.
