I'm sure this question has been asked a million times, been a minelab explorer user since 1999 wife bought me the 75 ltd curious what Va users are using currently sens at 95 notch1 11disc je mode ground balance usually falls around 50 to 70 any clues to better set up thanks!

Hey Leonard, I'm in Pa and have been using an old F-75 since they came out. I mainly hunt old coins with relics a second. My settings are; sens maxed, 0 disc, 4 tone, de mode. My ground balance is in the same range as yours. If I had boost process like you do, I'd be running in that mode.

Are you getting use to the Fisher tones after the nice flutie tones of the Minelab? The reason I ask is my buddies E-trac is in for a fix and he has to use his DFX, he is complaining about the tones, says they give him a headache.

I had no idea the disc settings had that effect on depth. When I run the F70 at disc1, the screen shows iron notched out, and even with a low sens, I'm getting excellent depth in the neutral conditions of chip lots. .Looks like you have some very good stuff on your site, Thanks!
Mud.
