F75 Serial Number Question

rob

Member
This may have been asked before but I just purchased a used F75 and wondered if any of you know how to read the serial number and get a date of when it was manufactured...?

By the way, I did not think I would like a detector better than my T2 but the F75 is going to be hard to beat (for a while at least).

Thanks,

Rob in Tennessee

Funny how that works, Rob. About three years ago I had a F 75 and a T 2, also. On any given day, each was the best. The F 75, though, was my "go to." HH jim tn

Hey Jim,

You are right. The T2 or the F75 are hot. I purchased the T2 and never thought it could be improved. It is light, fast and deep. I have gone back in areas that have been hunted by the big guns like the Minelabs, Whites and Tesoros and found coins and bullets over 10" down where they have walked all around for 20 years. Then they came out with the F75 and I paid extra to get the back light I hated using a flash light to look at the screen. By the way, what town are you in Tennessee?

Thanks for your response,

Rob in "Middle Tennessee"

Man, guys; I used to live in "middle Tennessee" too; the Hermitage area just east of Nashville. I LOVED it there, and would LOVE to move back there someday! I bet there's some great MDing there, too! I know the golfing and fishing were great!

Although I am not a drinker, Tennessee has some of the best sipping whiskey in the world. Can you image topping off a good hunt with a tour and a shot of whiskey?
