F75 SE upgrade ?

GroundScanner

Active member
Hello folks , I found my receipt of purchase bought this year. My question is it worth getting the upgrade ? Or should I hold off for time being ? Should I keep it as is and maybe purchase a new unit in the future? Thanks , GS

A lot of it depends on how you hunt. I am most impressed with FA for digging through iron and rescuing the good things. I was always a big BP fan. I had one of the first Camo LTD F75s and my noise level was terrible. My upgrade was so worth it for the quiet in my headphones. The FA is just a big bonus. Not sure why you would want to purchase another machine. I think Fisher did an amazing job of making the F75 so much more user friendly.

I like the upgrade so far. Fast Audio also gets my vote. It really made mine more user friendly. I had to run mine in the past when using BP under 40 sens and 1f tones just to be able to use it. Now it did work well with those setting but now I have more options to make it one of the most adaptable metal detectors I have used. Now waterproof and make it work in saltwater and it would be perfect. lol

Thanks guys for your info. I was asking because I think the bugs need to be worked out. And don't want to have to send it in after the upgrade. I was starting to use the all metal and like it. I would not want to loose any depth in all metal from the upgrade. So figured maybe purchase a new upgraded one. Then I will always have the original for all metal. Just a thought. Thanks , GS
