F75 Review

Does anyone have experience using an F75 and Garrett GTI 2500 ? I own the 2500 and was wondering about upgrading to the F75. I hunt for Civil War relics and coins. The 2500 is a great machine but I would really appreciate your comments on a comparison of the two units.

Thanks,
Mark

Well I own a F75, never ran a 2500.

For coins and relics--- Xp Deus a very good choice

if depth is your goal---Blisstool V6 is deeeeeep. Even on the hotter ground.

I use a f75 as my main machine. I used the Garrett GTI 1500 for a year. The GTi runs smooth and quiet, and the depth in inches is accurate as well as the B size for coins. And the bell coin tone is nice. The F75 has many different modes and the VDI numbers is very nice. The F75 swings easier, more balanced. I have the original F75 which I had upgraded to DST and is a better machine now in my opinion. It has a better recovery speed which is great for several targets in one hole. I also now have a Garrtett AT PRO for water and rainy days. Do I miss the GTI 1500? Actually I do, it was enjoyable using it, both the Fisher and the AT PRo can drive you crazy in a trashy area.

I had a friend that used the 2500. I use the F75DST. After he and I were on a hunt and he saw what the F75 was getting, he sold the 2500 and bought the F75. He later told me that the F75 was much, much better than the 2500 ever was. I never used the 2500 but hearing what others have said, I am glad that I went with the F75. I think you will be very happy with the F75.
