F75 has more capibilitys than meets the eye....or gets credit for..He has pic on the other forum Under nugget Hunting.. but the Finds site wouldn't let me post the link..

Hello Everyone,

Below is a write-up recently completed on silver rock hunting with an F-75. I hope viewers enjoy the read. While veteran hunters may find something of interest, it

Liquid1,
Thanks very much for posting this article by Jim. Could you please post the name of the forum Jim is on so I can Google it, if this article is any indication there must be other good info I could glean from reading other posts on there. I am very interested in using the F75 for prospecting and I am going out tomorrow to try to learn how to run this machine in a trashy gold camp.

Merton

Merton...go to TNet, and look under Nugget Hunting subforum. The T befor Net stands for treasure, but we are not allowed to actually use the full word on this forum. Odd since Finds is mentioned by many members over there!!

Thanks for the tip Humble Pie. I actually had been to tnet before but got so wrapped up in reading The Best Of that I never scrolled down to the nugget hunting forum.:stars:

Humble Pie, That article by Jim is top shelf. So much good info I know I will refer back to it many times as my skills with the f75 increase. The bench testing was especially interesting but alas it will be awhile until I can return to the goldfields as it's time to make a dollar. In the meantime I have been coin shooting to better learn my machine. It's such a vast difference between a mono tone PI and the f75 it has taken me awhile to wrap my mind around all the info the fisher feeds me. I did get my first silver(St. Christophers medal w/ silver chain) and yesterday my first deep coin, a clad penny at a measured 8". This machine really rocks and I know I will get some good finds in high trash gold areas once I learn to use it to it's full potential.

Merton

Thanks Merton, I was hoping to reach some of the F-75 users, but had to post it under Nugget Hunting. Otherwise I believe they would have moved it there. Good luck with your '75 gold hunting, I intend to do the same. Take care,

Jim.
