F75 Newbee

Even if you are not a newbee to detecting, but just new to the F 75, I highly suggest running if for some hours in the factory preset mode. It is a different beast then a lot of other detectors, very sensitive, and can be a bit over whelming right off. Once you get used to what all the coil is seeing and relaying back to you, then you can began to crank it up if you are so inclined. Personally, I almost always hunt with little to no disc, usually 0-4, and sen as high as the detector can handle to be fairly stable. In my area I can usually run sen of 85 and higher, but again, if it takes less sen for it to be stable that's o.k., as even at 70 or so it gets great depth. Enjoy, it is one awesome detector. Don't be afraid to turn that sens down like Jim said.. Your F75 will go very very deep..

Which 75 did you get.... Black and gold special edition, Camo LTD edition, Se Edition (Black colored detector) ????????

MrYazz, perhaps if you let us know the geographic area where you detect (i.e. soil mineralization) someone might be able to provide more specific settings geared to your needs.
