F75 new software update

My fellow treasure hunting friends,
Anyone that had some recent repairs done to their F75 get a note in the box with their machine stating that a new version software was installed?Had to send my machine in beginning of Dec. for some eratic behavior, bad toggle switch and loose strain relief by coil.Just received back my machine.Thought moisture was entering coil at this point,causing alot of chattering even at very low gains.Also my coil would sound off every time you bump it with your hand.Service dept said coil tested out ok;about 6 different tests on coil they did. But service ticket said a newer version program was installed.Have not called anyone on this. Does anyone know why this update was done?Does it add to the machines performance or perhaps take anything off? Any insights would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Steve

and even if there is one, I dont want it done on mine. I kinda like mine just the way it is.
Right after the shadows were released the first 300 or so were recalled to make adjustments. I sent mine in too but regretted it ever since. The origonal machine was hotter, and the 'modified' one just wasn't the same. I AM impressed with First Texas's attention to detail though. A friend of mine sent his in for a little problem with the on/off switch...and when he got it back they had not only fixed that...but addressed a number of other things that werent even wrong..but had caused issues for others.... not THATS service!!

Hello G, as far as i know it was said that there would be no further software updates of any kind for the F75.

When did you first get your machine?

The only logical thing that i can think of is that it was originally shipped with the older version of the software thus the upgrade.
Anyway hope it's working OK now. Mart.

I bought it towards the end of October of this year.I wouldnt think by now this machine was part of the firsts to come out of the factory.In fact it was back ordered by my dealer 2 weeks before I received it.It couldnt of been lying around in the warehouse since the late spring with the old program on.I think we need to find the serial # break when they started this update. Hello Steve, maybe a call or email to the guys who did the repair would clarify the software upgrade.

Any info on this ..I just ordered a new F75 from Kellyco and I should get it next week..I hope its a good one..james
