Has anyone tried the F75 LTD in the CL mode to find trash or fire pits? If so how did it work and how did you swing (speed) the detector? Bear

Well I have tried the CL mode very little so I don't know alot about it. I know the boost mode is a lot better than the De mode. So I was just thinking the CL mode would be better on deep targets than the boost mode?? Maybe someone would know IF the CL mode is worth anything on the machine. Bear

Bear.....I think it would be....I've played with it a little......try this....sens28......disc....4......2h tone....sweep real slow keep the coil up a couple inches.....bp....or.....cl.....see what happens in your soil.....hh......Dan
PS..just play with it and other settings if you get a good hit mark the spot and try other settings with it.Full power may or may not be all that, with these setting you can hear it better go by the tone.Try bp first you get a hit then try cl......I've had this detector 6 months and it will still surprise me at times....you got to play with it to learn it......that for sure.....God Bless.....good luck hunting.

I have got some signals that would bounce around and I would know it was a bullet. Then I would put it into CL mode and it would lock down on the target. I am going to be looking for some fire pits as soon as the hay is cut and I did not know if I needed to try it in the CL mode or if I should just hunt in the Boost mode. Bear
