F75 LTD - Where are the other field test results??

We are getting some good information from Brad, but aren't there other people testing the F75 LTD?? I would think we should be hearing from some others who are field testing.I bought an F75 about 3 months ago and I would like to get some additional field test results before forking out more money for the additional features of the LTD. Are there other forums where we might see some additional results or maybe results from other countries?

Sounds like Brad got the first one, so I'd be a little patient and wait for more reports to come in. Obviously, they haven't hit overseas, yet. That will take some time. I, too, am looking forward to other reports. Brad's report was difinitely well done and will give a "boost" (pun intended) to anyone thinking about upgrading to a new and improved F 75. I placed my order for one, yesterday. Can't wait to get my hands on one.

keep on diggin'

What might be fantastic improvements in one area might fall way short in other areas of the country.

That may well be the case, as I find that I have very different results with like detectors then Brad. I chalk a some of that up to experience, as I'm four months shy of having two years of detecting under my belt (but have put in hundreds of hours in the field), BUT also that tame black loamy ohio soil is much different then what we have to content with in Northern California, as well as sever EMI in many places.

Believe me, I WANT the T2/F75 LTDs to be great detectors in MY soil, it could take me to that next level of detecting. I really want something that gives Explorer like, or preferably better depth, without the weight and huge learning curve.

Time will tell :smoke:

we metal detect. My reason for wanting to see more field test has to do with my conditions. We got some rain this week but for the the last month I have had to take some special equipment with me as you can see in the picture and I am not kidding. It is so dry and hard that not only is the digging hard but it makes the TID a little goofy and audio as well. I have noticed in dry, hard conditions the audio is not a crisp as it is when there is moisture. So how will the LTD react, with its additional depth in these dry conditions. I also have to deal with lots of big iron. I am wondering if the T2 LTD with its expanded iron range would work better with all the iron I have to deal with. I am really excited though about the possibilities of the LTD.

Ironic you should post that :drinking:

Sunday I took my CZ70 out to a park and the ground was hard as cement, BUT I managed to find a wheatie that was over 8" deep in an area pounded by F75's and Explorers. I had to chip my way down to it (almost gave up). The irony is that after a few hours of hunting it started to pour rain...what timing

Well the explorer does well in Calif I have hunted with one and hunted with some guys that know them like the back of their hand...I had the CZ3 the CZ70 pro a few minelabs and a gold master by compass and I live in the Gold Country of Calif real tough dirt up here..The F75 has been by best detector in the 11 years I have hunted and I have had so many detectors I can't even start to name them all. So if the F75 has been such a great detector for relic and coin why wouldn't the new F75 even be better. I don't get 10 inches on a dime I did get 12 inches on a large cent but if I have found all of the finds I have found with the F75 I would think I should be able to find even more...Now I would like to get a detector with better EMI control but I don't hunt in the city that much..
