F75 finds silver:clapping:

Other than a silver spoon this is the second silver I have found with my F75, I have just had it for a couple of months. Is it a standing liberty quarter or a barber dime you might ask, why no, it is a FROG ring:unsure:. We only have one park in town and it was built sometime in the late 1950's so finding any silver here is fun. I found this next to the swimming pool and there was so much junk in the ground my F75 sounded like a machine gun. But I am starting to learn how to use this thing and pick out the good signals in this kind of situation. And I was able to pick out this ring surrounded by junk at about 5 ". The F75 is a great machine.

I would like to find one of those! My wife loves anything "frog." Frogs are all over the house and on the front porch including a 4' carved one. She says "how can you not smile when looking at a frog. they look so happy."

Would you like to sell your ring? If so please PM me.

Nice going!
I've had my F75 for a few months now and love it. I dig right into those trashy sites now because the separation is so good. I'm glad I decided on this one.

Swing the coil and they'll come:clapping:

I read where frog rings are supposed to bring you good luck. I think I will try wearing it and maybe I will find some silver coins next time. Good thing I hunt mainly at night, I would hate for someone to catch me wearing it.

were you using the stock coil or one of the small ones? How much disc do you normally use in trashy areas? Thanks and HH

John - I was using the stock coil, that is all I have, but hunting these areas sure makes me want to get a small coil. My settings were disc-5, sens-85, de mode, no notch, 3 tones.I was getting lots of signals because of all the junk, next time I am going to play with the disc and tone settings before digging.
