Well I'm finally getting settled in again back home in New England....
It seems that I have ritual that everytime I drive the 7 hrs to one of the awesome Brandy Station "DIV"'s, I have a tire problem :( This happened at DIV-5 on the way down, & Sunday DIV-7 on the way home after a great BBQ. Once I got a new tire in Delaware, I get home & a lady runs a stop sign & plows into my car! :ranting:Felt like I had a target on me. I had my full glass display case in the back seat & bullets flew through the air again for the first time since 1863! But I think I have got them all from in between the seats now...so enough of my saga...here's some pics...

Thanks to SCdigger Greg (the movie guy) finding a bullet hot spot near where a skirmish was, we all begain filling our pouches.....
These are mostly fired Yankee ones, many showing ram rod marks from the heat of battle....

We seemed snake bit on buttons.....but this CSA VA. button was a welcome surprise (especially to Tony & his dad) ;) But guess what....Tony now owns a F75 too partially due to how it was working! :)
....still need to clean this. Beginning to dry out...

The very last day, walking to the car to go to the BBQ, I pulled this Schenkl shell fuse out of a bunch of iron in what we think was a period house site....This is one of those big iron shells that looks like a rocket that exploded....

Here's the bottom...
T.P. SCHENKL
PAT. OCT 16 1861...........A shell fuse is considered a good find..the entire shell is better, but oh well :)

I also got this iron Gun butt and some kinda a wedge thingy I need to have ID'ed but was told it was Civil War period....

Here's a quick shot of most of the finds in my display case....I cut a pamphlet we got A the meeting describing the Battle. I also got some shrapnel & stuff I'll post later...

Sounds like a godd hunt but bad drive home. Maybe when you hunt for all of that old stuff you step on a few graves on the way?

We have leveled the playing field once again  That new F75 is looking mighty fine sitting over in the cawna. I have the technology....but can't seem to find the time right now. After diggin for 4 straight days, it's a little tough getting "Permission" these days! Maybe tomorrow  Hey.....Send me that fuse!

You know.....I read one of your GREAT posts about the F75 and you were laying out all the good things about this machine and it was all I could do to NOT to come back and ask....Yeah....but will it find a nickle?

Unreal If i am able to find just a portion of what you dig up I will be a very happy man my F-75 will arrive this week, Great finds!!
