F75 DE v JE modes

Ringmoney

New member
Is there any real difference between the two modes when using Discrimination levels of 0 to 4, I know there is a big difference with disc 5 and above but what about 0 to 4. Reason for asking is will the F75 run any smother in DE at these lower levels?

I found the Je mode was a little more dramatic in the noise level. De is the suggested normal operating mode.. It opens up the ring and gold range more in the JE mode.

Yup. I agree with Mr. Elton. Je more sens to a small gold earring back. Silver dime tests same in depth in both modes at 0disc. However. Small gold je better response and depth. HH. C t

I can't add much to Elton's answer he is spot on. But if you hunt jewelry try the JE mode with that little 6" elliptical, really a good setup. When I had my F75LTD that was one of my favorite ways to hunt, and to my surprise one day in the park I pulled up a V nickel and a IH penny.
