F75 Contradiction (T Dankowski)

Hi People, I have been reading the very informative articles regarding the F75, by T Dankowski...and as you know if you have read it,..? then it is well put, and fairly straightforward to under stand,, but the part I dont under stand is.?.....where he advises you to use >>(DISC 0)........../.Sens 99./. (TONE 1).. Pro.. (PF)... ..( TONE 1....and DISC 0) being the optimum preference for these settings to work.}...Then further down the page says that if you run the Disc lower than 4,........ then multi tones is the only option to use....Whaaaat???...scuse me..????didnt you just say...Tone 1 ..when using Disc 0... to pick up all those deepies,, with as much Sens as you can handle,,???Hmmmmmmm...??? any explanations please Peeps.....thank you.. regards....Kuffy.....

Kuffy......I think he's saying disc of ....2...3.....use multi tone because below 5 is a more sensitive setting so I would say 4 also.....when you are not just using ....0......disc. I've tried it both ways and still trying

other settings..0...disc.= 1 tone.....on the f75-ltd....hh.....Dan

Tom is a great guy but he hunts in different ground. I did read many times that if you hunt in four tone to drop your disc down to 0 and put your sens to the max in this mode the detecotr hunts like a CZ3. For me I love two tone if there is trash if the ground is fairly clean I will go with mono tone and a disc of 0-4.

You can use one tone if you have the discrimination set above 4, and Tom stated that 6 gave the best performance in the single tone mode (keep in mind, the discrimination is eliminating some of the iron in the ground) but if you drop the discrimination to 0, multi tone is the only logical way to hunt. Else at 0 discrimination and 1 tone there is now way to tell what a target might be because all targets including iron will give basically the same response.

Also keep in mind this article was written for the legacy F75 not the LTD in boost mode.
