F75 coin settings

Chuck121

New member
I have the basic F 75 and would like some suggestions on what settings are best for coin hunting.
I'm recently retired and given the F 75 as a retirement gift.Thanks to all>

Hi Chuck!
I would go to de mode, descrimination around 15 to knock out iron. Set sensitivity as high as you can without emi, select quietest freq ground balance and go.
HH, great machine you got there!

I second what Bart said; I use an F70 which is similar in most respects, and what he said should do you well. If you want to HEAR the iron, set disc. at 0 instead of 15 (machine is more sensitive this way, also). Finally, the only other thing I can add to Bart's comments is that you can also dial down your threshold to below zero if your machine is a bit too noisy for your liking.

You will have fun with it!

Steve
