F75 Battery's

New member
Hey guys, Had my best hunt yesterday. 7 silver plus alot of coin. I had bought new Panasonic lithium's and got about 40 hours on them. Yesterday while hunting the battery bar went from full to 0 instantly. What kind of battery's are you all using? Anyone try the rechargeable ones?

Hey EZ, I'm using the Sanyo Eneloop batteries. They're a rechargeable that have a shelf life to them like the typical non-chargeable batteries. I can't say how long they last because I haven't kept count, but I've been out several hunts so far and the battery gauge hasn't moved yet. I'll keep count of the hours on the next charge. FYI EZ,
You might already know this but the lithium hold a voltage and then die, no gradual dissipation. I looked at some and they are spendy! I use alkaline and have the NiMh kind too. There are two kinds of Nimh. the Eneloop type is a new chemistry that can be charged and hold their voltage for a good shelf life, there are several different types out there but they all hold a charge better that the older NiMh chemistry. The older ones can come in some awesome capacities in the 2000 ma to I think 2600ma. Those buggers go forever and the best thing about NiMh is you can recharge them at any point of discharge unlike the Nicads. Nicads are old technology.

I USE THE POWEREX 2700 RECHARGEABLES AND THEY WORK GREAT EVEN IN THE MINELAB EXPLORER BATTERY HOGS,RAY
