F75 battery life, 30 or 40 hours on 4 AA? I keep seeing both listed.

Half of the information I read on the F75 says that it gets over 40 hours on 4 AA bateries. The other half says 30. The Fisher F75 brochure says 40, but the spec sheet that Bill just listed on the forum today said 30. Either way it's darn good.

There are so many different type alkaline battery's out there now-
+ new ones for cameras + less powerful rechargables that its probably somewhere between 30-40 hours any how--

I spose youll just have to buy one and then U can count it out yourself--

the manual came out, & when I was still on my first set of batteries and folks were questioning the backlight always running. So, still being on that first set of batteries, & seeing no more drain than my 40 hour running T2 I don't think I'm far off
I tried to make clear all along that I was working with a PROTOTYPE without a manual & the final F75 will have some differences.....
