hunted a 1928 house demo lot in Houston. First day on the front yard, and it was MUDDY, I got several old wheats, 10S' 12, 12D, 15, 16D, and about 10 newer ones. Almost all of them rang up around 71-72 but the numbers move so darned much I have to say that is where they hit mostly. Wednesday went back tot he same lot and did the back part then moved about a hundred feet to where they had token off the top 4-6" of turf for a new slab. In that very front area about 25' by 15' I got 2 44D nickels which both were bouncing from around 30 to around 60 and goo tone so I dug them. A merc and 2 silver rosies all were in the 75-77 range and a 66 Kennedy half was 85-86. All great tones and consistent. I am gaining a lot of confidence in the tones and target size but not so much for numbers yet. They sure seem to bounce around a lot but I think I may be getting the hang of it.
