How is the f75 doing on gold rings? I, and perhaps others, are curious as to their readings and settings they are being located with. I posted the one I found last week, a 1977 10k class ring, but, again, settings were disc. 15, sen. 60, 3h tones, process de and it came in at 53 to 55. Thanks, HH jim tn

F75 and gold rings

2 were silver, one was gold. (I'm not counting the "junk" rings) The gold one hit somewhere in the pulltab range (as expected) The silvers rung up in the coin range. That's the bad part about gold rings. Depending on their "mass" they can fall just about anywhere! It pays to dig it all sometimes.
