F70 w/6" oval coil

Went out yesterday to the local school ground with my F70 with 6" oval coil. Didn't find any old coins but was finding clad dimes at 7" loud and clear with ID at 68, this is one really amazing little coil. I was also able to run my 70 on SL mode, sens at 80, thres at -3 (that's where I keep it) with no falsing at all. I've tried this with the stock coil and the chattering will drive you crazy, what a difference this little coil makes. Question: has anyone tried using SL with the F75's stock coil on the F70 and if so, how was the chattering? Thinking about getting this coil. Thanks, HH

I hunted with my F70 w/stock coil today in SL mode with the sens at 85 and thresh at -9. It ran very stable until I got around an area with some EMI, then I had to switch off SL mode and drop the sens to 70.

EMI tends to kill most of the newer Fisher detectors. They run great in areas without EMI, but unfortunately a lot of the sites I typically hunt are in the city and they are prone to EMI.

hh,
Brian
