F70 tones?

Does the F70 have tone ID? I am thinking about trading a Garrett GTI-1500 for a new F70.

My friend has an F70, works really good except the depth reads 4 to 5 inches off. In other words a 5in target may read 9 to 10in .---Wade

The manual does say that its made to get depth right on coins.....
Other odd sided items will throw off the inches meter.

The F75 was pretty close to measured depth, and the F70 was pretty far off.----Wade
